My work explores themes of time and memory.

I combine and assemble ephemera along with distressed fabrics and stitch to create a personal response in which I reflect not only on the tactile nature of the materials but also on the underlying meaning of using found materials to create new art from old.

The work often has a functional element in which some of the books convey their story through a wind up musical box and the wall pieces illuminate to communicate themes of nostalgia.
