Inspired by the colours and textures found in the harbours and coastline of west Cornwall
and northern Brittany [France], Richard and Julie Goodwin-Jones use the Raku technique to create similar
effects in their range of 2D and 3D pieces.
They can create larger or one off pieces or personalise certain items.
All the work is made using a combination of press-moulding, hand building or slip casting techniques.
Due to the unique nature of the Raku firing process no two pieces are ever the same.
All work is made to order and they have developed batch methods of production to keep up with demand.
