I love outdoor adventures and this is reflected in my work which often explores the natural world.
I'm particularly interested in the way man-made objects interact with the landscape - the cut of a fence into the surface of water or the layering of windswept ice against a wall.

Most pieces are created using handmade moulds, slip casting techniques and abstracted patterns
that are meticulously hand carved, painted or incised into a basic form.
Storytelling is the secret ingredient - every item is inspired by an experience, from stacking pebbles on the beach to watching birds in my garden.
