I am an artist, originally from Shetland now living in Alloa, Clackmannanshire.
Having recently studied Illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone I have now set up as a freelance illustrator with printmaking as my predominant choice of media.

As NattyMaid, I am busy building a body of work that explores different printmaking techniques such as linocut, collagraph and
Gocco with the aim that it can be used in many areas such as galleries, giftware and textiles.
Like many artists I draw my inspiration from the day to day world around me and I enjoy taking form and shape that little bit further to make the ordinary, less so.
My love of traditional pattern and form lends itself well to many printmaking methods and gives an overall vintage feel to my designs.
