Using Scottish Tweeds and Welsh wools with colourful cottons and vintage fabrics,
Petal Anderson makes distinctive handbags, corsages, papiêr maché dolls and other textile creations with a unique and individual twist.
Beautiful Tweeds, reflecting the diversity and charm of the British landscape, are pleated and tucked, sculpted and sewn,
to form handbags large and small. These bags then find themselves adorned with spiralling corsages and fabric flowers centred with contemporary and vintage buttons.
Other items include; quirky bird and rabbit decorations - such as the 'Tweedy Pie Robins' and 'Herringbone Hoppities',
stitched and twisted flower corsages in tweed and up-cycled fabrics, and papiêr maché 'Eco Fairies' each with a tiny
fairy tale printed onto the wings!
All our products are lovingly created to a high standard of craftsmanship with attention to detail, colour and form.
Petal Anderson is Jill Patel and Jenny Anderson. We are both graduates from the Royal College of Art
and have both worked in Italy and London as fashion designers before setting up Petal Anderson.
