Elin Isaksson Glass delivers contemporary and unique handcrafted glass for lighting, decoration and architecture. Previous commissions include trophies for Edinburgh University’s prestigious Chancellor’s Award and exhibit pieces for the National Museum of Scotland amongst others. Elin is currently working on a project to create 3 installations of blown and sand cast sculptural glass for the new modern NHS hospital in Alloa. Elin also designs and makes gallery pieces, exhibited through online art sites and galleries internationally. Her recent work consists of blown glass elements with sleek, minimal stainless steel frames enlightened with environmental friendly LEDs. Her work combines traditional skills with contemporary aesthetics producing bespoke chandeliers and innovative glass pendants.
